Plangrep helps users work with construction project documents, including plans, specifications, drawings, submittals, bids, schedules, RFIs, and related files.

We collect information to operate the service, process project documents, secure accounts, support billing, improve product performance, and communicate with users.

2. Information we collect

• Account and organization information, such as name, email, company, organization membership, role, and account settings.
• Project content, such as uploaded documents, project names, prompts, messages, outputs, checklists, RFI questions, logs, exports, comments, and source links.
• Usage and billing information, such as credits purchased, credits used, reserved credits, usage ledger entries, checkout status, payment provider identifiers, and billing profile settings.
• Technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, session activity, log data, errors, and security events.
• Communications and scheduling information, such as messages you send us, support requests, and discovery-call scheduling details.
• Cookies and similar technologies needed for authentication, security, product operation, and performance.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and secure Plangrep.
• Process project documents and generate AI-assisted outputs.
• Create projects, manage workspaces, track usage, and support credit billing.
• Provide support, communicate with users, and schedule discovery calls.
• Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve product performance.
• Comply with law, enforce terms, and protect Plangrep, users, and others.

4. Customer content and AI processing

Uploaded project documents are treated as customer content. We process customer content to provide the service and produce outputs requested by users.

We do not sell customer content. We do not use customer project documents to train AI models without explicit permission.

Customer content may be processed by AI providers, cloud providers, and other subprocessors solely as needed to provide, secure, support, or improve the service.

5. How we share information

We may share information with service providers and third parties that help us operate Plangrep, including:

• Cloud hosting, database, storage, and infrastructure providers.
• AI processing providers used to analyze documents and generate outputs.
• Payment processors, including Stripe, for checkout, billing, receipts, and auto-reload.
• Scheduling providers, including Google Calendar, for booking meetings.
• Authentication, email, security, logging, and operational support providers.
• Professional advisors, legal authorities, or compliance partners when needed to comply with law or protect rights.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain information while your account or organization workspace is active and as needed to provide the service.

We may retain some information longer where required for billing records, legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, or legitimate business purposes.

You may request deletion of account or project data by contacting info@plangrep.com. Deletion may be limited where retention is required or permitted by law, contract, security, backups, or billing obligations.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for deciding what information to upload to Plangrep and for making sure you have the rights and approvals needed to process project documents.

Do not upload protected health information, payment card data, classified information, export-controlled data, or other regulated sensitive data unless Plangrep has agreed in writing.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

10. International processing

Plangrep may process information in the United States and other locations where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have data protection laws different from your jurisdiction.

11. Children

Plangrep is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
